Thanks Debbie for your question, and Victoria for your answer!

I used to have a chronological resume because several people told me that chronological was what employers are looking for.

After reading this answer a while back, I switched to the funtional resume. I received a call from a hiring manager, who said he was calling because of my 10 years of management experience. The first bullet on my resume referred to that experience, and I ended up getting the job!
